Le dernier train

Tomas regarde son téléphone. Il est minuit passé. Les portes ferment. Il ne sait pas : les trains s'arrêtent la nuit.

Tomas checks his phone. It is after midnight. The gates are closing. He does not know: trains stop at night.

Un taxi coûte trop cher. Un homme montre la rue du doigt. Tomas trouve un petit hôtel. Il paie à une machine. Il dort dans une toute petite chambre.

A taxi costs too much. A man points down the street. Tomas finds a small hotel. He pays at a machine. He sleeps in a tiny room.

Le matin, Tomas achète un café. Il prend le premier train pour rentrer. Il est fatigué mais content. Maintenant il vérifie toujours : quand part le dernier train ?

In the morning, Tomas buys coffee. He takes the first train home. He is tired but happy. Now he always checks: when is the last train?
