Tomas checkt zijn telefoon. Het is na middernacht. De poorten gaan dicht. Hij weet het niet: treinen stoppen 's nachts.

Tomas checks his phone. It is after midnight. The gates are closing. He does not know: trains stop at night.

Een taxi kost te veel. Een man wijst de straat in. Tomas vindt een klein hotel. Hij betaalt bij een automaat. Hij slaapt in een piepklein kamertje.

A taxi costs too much. A man points down the street. Tomas finds a small hotel. He pays at a machine. He sleeps in a tiny room.

's Ochtends koopt Tomas koffie. Hij neemt de eerste trein naar huis. Hij is moe maar blij. Nu checkt hij altijd: wanneer is de laatste trein?

In the morning, Tomas buys coffee. He takes the first train home. He is tired but happy. Now he always checks: when is the last train?
