La finca empezó en mil ochocientos ochenta y tres. Antes, la isla cultivaba naranjas. Una enfermedad mató los naranjos. Así que los cultivadores plantaron té en su lugar. Todavía usan las mismas máquinas viejas hoy.
Dentro de la fábrica, máquinas viejas enrollan y secan las hojas. Los trabajadores recogen las hojas jóvenes a mano. Las hojas jóvenes dan el mejor té. Aquí no se usan químicos malos.
