Polly gre globlje dol. V vodi zagleda visoko skalo. Stoji sama. Okoli nje se lomijo beli valovi.

Polly goes further down. She sees a tall rock in the water. It stands alone. Waves break white around it.

Long ago that rock was part of the cliff. Then the waves took away the stone under it. Now it stands alone in the sea. It is thin at the bottom.

A gull flies past. This gull does not follow boats. It does not take food from people. It catches its own fish in the sea.

The gull flies away. Polly looks at the space between the rock and the cliff. That space was stone before.
