今、ポリーはまた登らなければなりません。登るのは、降りるよりおそいです。ポリーは二回止まって、休みます。

Now Polly must climb back up again. Going up is slower than going down. She stops two times to rest.

ぬれた段の上に、カサガイがいます。カサガイは石の小さな穴にいます。穴はカサガイの殻と同じ形です。カサガイは毎朝、この場所に帰ってきます。

On a wet step there is a limpet. It sits in a small hole in the stone. The hole has the same shape as its shell. The limpet comes back to this same place every morning.

てっぺんから、ポリーは海の島を見ることができます。島はピンク色の岩でできています。この崖は白い岩です。とてもちがって見えます。

From the top Polly can see islands in the water. They are made of pink rock. This cliff is white rock. They look very different.

ポリーは最後にもう一度、階段を見下ろします。それから、海岸にそって飛んでいきます。

Polly looks down the steps one last time. Then she flies away along the coast.
