Polly desce mais os degraus. Então vê uma coisa estranha. Agora há pouco céu. Ela olha para cima. A falésia está por cima da cabeça dela.

Polly goes further down the steps. Then she sees something strange. There is not much sky now. She looks up. The cliff hangs out over her head.

Foi o mar que fez isto. As ondas batem na base da falésia. Levam a rocha. Depois, a rocha de cima não tem nada por baixo. Também há grandes grutas lá no fundo.

The sea made this. Waves hit the bottom of the cliff. They take the rock away. Then the rock above has nothing under it. There are big caves down there too.

Nas rochas por baixo há aves verde-escuras. Elas abrem as asas para secá-las ao vento.

On the rocks below there are dark green birds. They hold their wings open to dry them in the wind.

Uma ave cai da rocha para o mar. Quase não faz salpicos. Polly espera. A ave volta a aparecer longe. Tem um peixe.

One bird falls off the rock into the sea. It makes almost no splash. Polly waits. The bird comes up far away. It has a fish.
