Růžová neexistuje. Pošli to někomu, kdo se s tebou hned začne hádat. Podívej se na duhu nebo rozlož světlo kouskem skla. Uvidíš červenou, oranžovou, žlutou, zelenou, modrou a fialovou, hezky za sebou. Ani jedna část té řady není růžová.

Samo světlo růžovou nedělá. Někdy tvoje oči zachytí silné červené světlo a silné modré světlo najednou, a zeleného světla je v tom málo. Tvůj mozek nemá pro takovou směs připravenou žádnou běžnou barvu. Takže místo aby nechal prázdné místo, prostě si vymyslí úplně novou barvu.

Ta nová barva je růžová. Žije jen v tvojí hlavě, ne venku ve světě. Venku, ve skutečném světle, se růžová nikde nenajde. Ale když ji vidíš, pořád ti připadá úplně skutečná, pokaždé znovu.
