حديقة الجبل

في الصباح كانت رائحة الهواء حلوة وجافة. مشت بولي بين شجيرات فضية خضراء منخفضة على جانب الجبل.

In the morning the air smelled sweet and dry. Polly walked through low silver-green bushes on the side of the mountain.

مرّت بجانب إكليل الجبل والزعتر. رائحة النباتات تبعتها في كل مكان. هذا الجبل حديقة مشهورة.

She brushed past rosemary and thyme. The smell of the plants followed her everywhere. This mountain is a famous garden.

تنمو هنا مئات النباتات البرية. بعضها لا ينمو في أي مكان آخر في العالم تقريبًا.

Hundreds of wild plants grow here. Some of them grow almost nowhere else in the world.

نمت نخلة صغيرة بين الصخور. انحنت أشجار الصنوبر فوق الحجر الباهت. جلست بولي في الظل واستمعت إلى الريح.

A small fan palm grew between the rocks. Pine trees leaned over the pale stone. Polly sat in the shade and listened to the wind.
