Sabah hava tatlı ve kuru kokuyordu. Polly, dağın yamacında alçak, gümüş-yeşil çalıların arasında yürüdü.

In the morning the air smelled sweet and dry. Polly walked through low silver-green bushes on the side of the mountain.
