Penzion stál nad přístavem. Dveře měl na závětrné straně. Dům vedla ovce. Polly stála v hale, mokrá od deště. „Máte volné pokoje?“

Pokoje byly. Polly řekla: „Chtěla bych tichý pokoj, prosím.“ Ovce chvíli počkala. Vítr si tady najde každý pokoj.

„Mohla byste mi prosím pomoct se zavazadly?“ Ovce vynesla tašku nahoru. Postavila ji ke křeslu. Kostru mělo z naplaveného dřeva, protože tu neroste žádný strom. Opěradlo bylo ze slámy.

„V kolik hodin musím pokoj opustit?“ zeptala se Polly. O všem tady rozhoduje loď. Pak se do křesla posadila. Sláma zastavila studený vzduch.
