Охотники неба

Полли поднялась на край горы. Внизу скала падала прямо вниз, к морю.

Polly climbed to the edge of the mountain. Below her, the rock dropped straight down to the sea.

Тёплый воздух поднимался вдоль скалы. Полли открыла крылья, и ветер поднял её высоко.

The warm air rose up the cliff. Polly opened her wings, and the wind lifted her high.

Рядом летел большой орёл. У него был белый живот. Он не махал крыльями. Он просто плыл на ветре вдоль стены скалы.

A big eagle floated beside her. It had a white belly. It did not flap its wings. It just rode the wind along the wall of rock.

Потом мимо пронёсся сокол, быстрый, как падающий камень. Полли засмеялась и дала ветру поднять себя ещё выше.

Then a falcon dived past her, fast as a falling stone. Polly laughed and let the wind carry her higher.
