バルコニー付きの部屋

マルコスは夜遅くホテルに着きます。疲れています。スーツケースを下ろします。受付には女性が座っています。

Marcos arrives at the hotel late at night. He is tired. He puts down his suitcase. A woman sits at the desk.

"予約をしています"と彼は言います。"名前はマルコス・ソトです"女性はキーボードを打ちます。表情が変わります。

"I have a reservation," he says. "My name is Marcos Soto." The woman types. Her face changes.

"申し訳ございません。お部屋の準備がまだです。でも、バルコニー付きの部屋が一つあります"女性は鍵を渡します。

"I am sorry. Your room is not ready. But we have one room with a balcony." She gives him the key.

エレベーターは古いです。音がします。マルコスはドアを開けます。町が見えます。屋根、明かり、そして噴水です。

The elevator is old. It makes noise. Marcos opens the door. He sees the city: roofs, lights, and a fountain.

マルコスはバルコニーに出ます。風は冷たいです。噴水のそばに二人の人が立っています。マルコスは彼らを見ます。

He goes onto the balcony. The wind is cold. Two people stand by the fountain. Marcos watches them.
