Dann kommt der Riese. Eine Welle steigt und steigt. Sie ist größer als ein Haus. Sie ist ein grauer Berg mit weißer Spitze. Ein Jetski zieht einen Reiter auf die Welle. Der kleine Reiter fliegt die Welle hinunter.
Die Welle explodiert. Weißer Schaum springt die ganze Klippe hoch. Er spritzt über die Burg wie kalter Regen. Er macht Pollys Brille nass. Der Lärm ist wie Donner ohne Ende.
Den ganzen Nachmittag kommen die Riesen. Tiere stehen auf der Klippe: Hunde, Füchse und Möwen. Sie jubeln bei jeder Fahrt. Polly hält die rote Laterne, nass und glücklich.
