One animal makes cube shaped poop. It is a wombat, from Australia. It digs in the ground. It eats grass at night. It leaves small cubes behind.

For years, nobody knew why. Corners are hard to make. Other animals make round poop. Scientists look inside the wombat.

Inside the wombat, some walls are hard. The hard walls make the corners. The wombat puts cubes on rocks. This marks its place. Round poop would roll away.
