첫 번째 빛

마지막 아침, 폴리는 곶 끝까지 날아갔어요. 그곳의 이름은 캅 데 산트 안토니예요.

On her last morning, Polly flew out to the end of the cape, called Cap de Sant Antoni.

작고 하얀 등대가 절벽 위에 높이 서 있었어요. 오랫동안 바다를 지켜봤어요.

A small white lighthouse stood high on the cliff. For a long time it has watched over the sea.

해가 바다 위로 떠올랐어요. 이곳 바다는 잔잔하고 맑아요. 그리고 보호받는 곳이에요. 빛이 절벽을 다시 금빛으로 물들였어요.

The sun rose over the water. The sea here is calm and clear, and it is protected. The light turned the cliffs gold one more time.

폴리는 코끼리 산에게 작별 인사를 했어요. 따뜻한 바람을 타고 올라갔어요. 그리고 밝은 바다 위로 날아갔어요.

Polly said goodbye to the elephant mountain. She rose on the warm wind and flew out over the bright sea.
