Tahle pláž je z odpadků. Pošli to někomu, kdo pořád hází lahve do moře. Na pobřeží severní Kalifornie narážejí vlny na pláž, která se na slunci třpytí zeleně, modře a bíle. Z dálky vypadá jako drahokamy.

Nejsou to drahokamy. Město poblíž tady mělo desítky let svou skládku a házelo lahve, nádobí a rozbité sklo rovnou do vody. Zbytek udělal oceán.

Vlna za vlnou, rok za rokem oceán obrousil každou ostrou hranu, až se z rozbitého skla staly malé kulaté barevné kamínky. Dnes je to chráněný park a sebrat i jediný kousek je proti zákonu.
