Slnko sa pomaly dvíhalo z vody. More okolo mysu je pokojné a priezračné a je chránené, takže ryby a rastliny pod hladinou žijú v pokoji. Prvé svetlo ešte raz zafarbilo útesy dozlatista.
Polly sa obzrela a rozlúčila sa so slonou horou. Potom sa vzniesla na teplom rannom vetre a odletela nad jasné, otvorené more.
