雕刻的山洞

波莉飞下去,飞到大海边。悬崖下面有一个黑黑的山洞。人们叫它科瓦山洞,意思是雕刻的山洞。

Polly flew down to the sea. A dark cave opened in the bottom of the cliff. People call it the Cova Tallada, the carved cave.

山洞里面,墙壁又平又直。很久以前,人们用手切开这块石头。波莉还能看到老工具留下的痕迹。

Inside, the walls were flat and straight. Long ago, people cut this stone by hand. Polly could still see the marks of their old tools.

石头发出温暖的金色光芒。山洞一半是岩石,一半是清澈的蓝色大海。

The stone glowed warm and golden. Half of the cave was rock, and half was clear blue sea.

光从洞口照进来,在水面上跳舞。波莉摸了摸凉凉的墙壁。她想记住这块金色石头的颜色。

Light came through the mouth of the cave and danced on the water. Polly touched the cool wall. She wanted to remember the colour of this golden stone.
