Amazonka, najväčšia rieka

Amazonka je veľká rieka v Južnej Amerike. Je to najväčšia rieka na svete podľa množstva vody. Nesie viac vody než mnohé iné veľké rieky dohromady.

The Amazon is a great river in South America. It is the biggest river in the world by the amount of water. It carries more water than many other large rivers all together.

Rieka pramení vysoko v horách a tečie k moru. Cestou prechádza cez deväť krajín. Okolo rieky sa rozprestiera obrovský zelený les, plný stromov, vtákov, rýb a mnohých ďalších zvierat.

The river starts high in the mountains and flows to the sea. On the way, it passes through nine countries. Around the river there is a huge green forest, full of trees, birds, fish, and many other animals.

Amazonka je pre našu planétu veľmi dôležitá. Veľký les dáva svetu čistý vzduch a je domovom miliónov rastlín a zvierat. Mnoho ľudí žije aj blízko rieky. Používajú jej vodu každý deň na pitie, varenie a cestovanie loďou.
