The Crooked House

In the morning Polly meets Berta. Berta is an old stone marten. She lives inside the town walls. She shows Polly the town.

The streets are like stairs. The balconies almost touch over the street. All the houses are pink. The doors are small.

Οι δρόμοι είναι σαν σκάλες. Τα μπαλκόνια σχεδόν αγγίζονται πάνω από τον δρόμο. Όλα τα σπίτια είναι ροζ. Οι πόρτες είναι μικρές.

Berta shows Polly a very crooked house. It is thin at the bottom and wide at the top. It is called the Julianeta. It is very famous and very old.

Η Μπέρτα δείχνει στην Polly ένα πολύ στραβό σπίτι. Είναι λεπτό κάτω και φαρδύ πάνω. Το λένε Χουλιανέτα. Είναι πολύ διάσημο και πολύ παλιό.

Polly and Berta sit on a roof. They share a fig. The pink town is below them. Polly likes being a little lost here.

Η Polly και η Μπέρτα κάθονται σε μια στέγη. Μοιράζονται ένα σύκο. Η ροζ πόλη είναι από κάτω τους. Στην Polly αρέσει να χάνεται λίγο εδώ.
